The Africa Nations Cup for Masters Hockey players was played out in Cape Town from 26-28 November 2021. The tournament featured the SA Masters World Cup squads, teams from around the African continent as well as teams from Alliance International as they prepared for the 2022 WMH World Cup.

The City of Cape Town was the primary sponsor for the tournament, and it was hosted by The South African Masters Hockey Association. Matches were played in and around the Western Province Cricket Club and Hartleyvale Hockey Stadium, which will be the primary venues for the 2022 WMH World Cup. Spectators and family members were allowed onto the sportsgrounds to watch the matches for free.
