World Masters Hockey is pleased to announce Sportway as its official streaming and video technology partner for the 2026 WMH World Cup, bringing live match access, video analysis and digital coaching tools to teams, supporters and the global Masters Hockey community.

World Masters Hockey (WMH) is delighted to announce its partnership with Sportway for the 2026 WMH World Cup, marking an important step forward in how Masters Hockey is viewed, shared and experienced across the world.

Through this partnership, Sportway will provide livestreaming services for the tournament, enabling players, families, supporters and the wider hockey community to follow the action from wherever they are. With matches taking place across Rotterdam, Schiedam, Brasschaat and Breda, the partnership will help connect the global Masters Hockey family to the World Cup experience, even when they cannot be physically present at the venues.

The partnership also introduces additional value for participating teams through Sportway’s Team Account, a video coaching and analysis solution designed to give teams access to their tournament matches in one place. The platform allows coaches and team staff to watch matches, tag key moments, analyse performance, share clips and provide feedback to players during and after the tournament.

For WMH, the partnership supports a broader commitment to improving the quality, visibility and accessibility of Masters Hockey events.

"The 2026 WMH World Cup will bring together players, officials, volunteers, families and supporters from across the world. Our partnership with Sportway allows us to extend that experience beyond the pitch and beyond the host venues. It gives our community greater access to the tournament, while also providing teams with tools that can support preparation, performance and development. This is exactly the kind of practical innovation that helps us grow Masters Hockey and enhance the experience for our members."

Sportway’s livestreaming platform will give supporters the opportunity to purchase access to tournament coverage, including venue-specific passes and an all-access event pass. This creates a more inclusive viewing experience for families, friends and fans who are unable to travel, while strengthening the global reach of the WMH World Cup.

In addition, participating teams will have the opportunity to purchase the Sportway Team Account tournament package. The platform is designed as an all-in-one coaching app, giving each team access to its recorded matches and the ability to review, break down and share key moments. Coaches can use the platform live from the bench on a tablet, remotely from the hotel or after matches as part of their performance review process.

The Team Account includes:

  • Access to all of a team’s tournament matches

  • Video analysis tools

  • Match event tagging

  • Clip creation and sharing

  • Coach-to-player feedback

  • Drawing and comment tools

  • Playlist creation

  • Downloadable clips

  • Compatibility across iPhone, iPad, Mac and PC

  • One account for the whole team

The Team Account is available for a one-time tournament fee of €100 excluding VAT per team, with no per-player charges.

The partnership also creates new opportunities for WMH from a communications, commercial and development perspective. Livestreaming and digital match content will support tournament storytelling, social media coverage, sponsor visibility and post-event content, while helping WMH present Masters Hockey as a modern, connected and globally accessible sport.

This collaboration reflects WMH’s commitment to delivering high-quality events, improving participant experience and embracing technology that supports the continued growth of Masters Hockey worldwide.
